1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fidum, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Fidum provides tools and assistance to help users identify and submit claims for unclaimed property.

Fidum:

  • Does not guarantee that you will have unclaimed property
  • Does not guarantee claim approval
  • Does not control claim review, approval, or payment timelines

All final decisions are made by the relevant property-holding authority.

3. Authorization

By using Fidum, you authorize us to:

  • Use the information you provide to search public and non-public databases where permitted
  • Prepare claim documentation on your behalf
  • Submit claims to appropriate custodians where applicable

You may revoke authorization by closing your account, subject to claims already in progress.

4. Fees

If Fidum charges a fee or percentage for successful claims, those terms will be clearly disclosed before you agree to them.

You are never required to use Fidum to claim unclaimed property, and free government options may exist.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not submit claims for property that does not belong to you

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of claim submissions.

6. No Financial or Legal Advice

Fidum does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Use of the platform does not create an attorney-client or fiduciary relationship.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Fidum is not liable for claim denials, delays, or lost opportunities
  • Fidum is not responsible for actions or decisions of government agencies or third parties
  • Fidum's total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to Fidum, if any

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Fidum if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

You may stop using Fidum at any time.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
